What Three Things you Should have in your Resume?

By Ambition398

When you are applying for a new job, your resume should be the key; it should be the one talking about you. It should highlight certain aspects of your professional capabilities which if not addressed, will not get you the interview that you need. No human resources (HR) staff member or recruiter will take a look at you if you do not include these three things below.

  1. Work Experience

When we talk about work experience, it does not mean that you will mention each day in your previous office. All you have to do is state what posts you have attended in your previous employments, which companies you have worked for and how long. You also have to give the brief facts about each job that you had to handle. This entire info should be listed chronologically and should be at the beginning of your CV.

2. Important Qualifications and Key Skills

When you have all your credentials and qualifications listed for your recruiters’ benefits, they will be able to immediately identify all the steps that you had taken to launch yourself in your business. They will be able to see whether they want a person with skills such as yours, and they will hire you accordingly. If you have attained certain designations, obtained PhD etc, you should mention them too, along with the name of the institutes where you have revived them all. When you are applying for more technical professions, it would help to state what extra courses you had taken in order to achieve special licenses for your work. If you want to be a computer programmer, you should write about the place where you learnt all about hardware and stuff. State you skills in a clean, precise manner, and then tell about the years of experience, along with self- assessment ratings such as “novice” or “intermediate “or “expert”.

3. Accomplishments

This now brings us to the last part of your CV. If you want to be recruited, you have to tell them your worth. More than just your degrees or skills, you have to show them what you have accomplished in you previous jobs and how. Only then they would know that you are capable of bringing in more value and profit to the company than anyone else. That is when they will hire you.

When you write a resume, it should be perfect. But try to make it interesting and honest. You can even attach your business card for maximum effect.
